Meet Marion Christen, owner of Véri'tables Saveurs
A gourmet grocery store designed down to the smallest detail
Opening a new store involves making countless decisions, from selecting the right products to designing the perfect retail space. For Marion Christen, founder of the gourmet grocery store Véri'tables Saveurs, it was essential to create a shop that was warm, functional, and perfectly reflected her brand identity.
At first, Marion considered designing the layout herself to keep the costs of launching her business under control. However, during her research, she discovered Tradis furniture and was immediately impressed by its design, build quality, and excellent value for money. The customer projects showcased on our website also helped her visualize her future store and confirmed that Tradis was the right choice.
It was therefore a natural decision for her to entrust the layout of her gourmet grocery store to our team, benefiting from personalized support and a store design tailored to her business.

Expert guidance that makes launching a store easier
Following an initial discussion with our sales team, Marion was introduced to our interior designer, who worked with her to create the layout of her future store. By explaining her project and the different product categories she planned to offer—including dry groceries, savoury products, sweet treats, and sourdough starters—she quickly received a layout perfectly suited to her needs.
Working closely with our interior designer allowed Marion to refine her project step by step. An initial proposal was created and then adjusted to accommodate several requests for changes. Every modification was clearly explained and implemented promptly, resulting in a final design that fully met her expectations.
While Marion was extremely satisfied with the overall support she received, she did identify one area for improvement during the period leading up to the final approval of the project. While waiting for her bank to confirm financing, she sometimes felt that the sales follow-ups were a little too frequent. She believes this was mainly due to the lengthy process involved in starting a new business rather than the service itself.
Apart from this, she particularly appreciated the team's availability, the clear communication, and the straightforward design process.

A real time-saver for bringing her project to life
One of the aspects Marion appreciated most was the 3D visualisations. They allowed her to easily picture her future store and confidently approve the layout before placing the furniture order.
Once her shop opened, she found that the finished result matched the original designs perfectly. The furniture met all her expectations, both aesthetically and functionally.
Beyond the final appearance of the store, Marion especially values the amount of time saved thanks to the store design service. Launching a business requires dealing with countless administrative, financial, and logistical tasks. Being able to entrust the design of her retail space to a specialist allowed her to focus on other key priorities involved in opening her business.
A few months after opening, the evolution of her product range led her to make a small adjustment by adding an extra display unit to expand her cosmetics and handmade soap section. This natural development demonstrates the flexibility and modularity of her store layout.
Today, Marion is completely satisfied with her experience with Tradis. From the quality of the furniture and the support provided throughout the project to the valuable time saved thanks to the store design service, she would not hesitate to recommend this solution to other retailers planning to open or renovate their stores.
